MPROvE Lung and Airway Ultrasound Course

Duration: 8 weeks
Course Dates: March 15 – May 15

 

This course mentors a small group of participants through an 8-week program combining online teaching, workshops, and interactive discussions. A detailed curriculum and session schedule are available in the attached document.

 

Time Commitment:

  • Approximately 60–90 minutes per week
  • Sessions will take place on a set weekday (final schedule to be shared by December)
  • If you cannot attend live, session content will be available online for on-demand review

Each session includes dedicated time for participants to share their own cases for online feedback and critique (after the teaching portion). Participants will also receive a logbook to document and store images.

  2. Lung Pathology
  3. Clinical Correlation: Diagnosis and Clinical Approach
  4. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Interventions

 

Faculty:

The course is delivered by an international faculty, with speakers from the UK, France, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and India.

 

Course Fee & Scholarships:

For course fees and registration details, please email mproveonline(at)gmail.com. Discounted fees may be available for participants practicing in LMICs. A limited number of scholarship placements (5 total) are available via formal application (CV required).

 

Accreditation & Assessment (Optional):

Participants seeking accreditation must have access to an ultrasound machine and be able to share anonymized cases and images (guidance will be provided). Accreditation requires completion of an online exam with a passing score. The exam may be taken at any time within the first six months after the course begins.
