This symposium brings together experts and clinicians to explore the comprehensive care of extremely preterm infants born at 22–24 weeks of gestation through platform sessions and interactive content.

Topics Include:

• A family’s story
• Maternal transfer and peripartum care
• Delivery room setup, management, and immediate postnatal transition
• Initial respiratory care, expected course of respiratory support, and weaning to NIV
• Fluid and electrolyte management
• Nutritional support and hyperglycemia
• Parental involvement, care environment, and skin care
• Pain and stress prevention (the small baby unit)
• Line strategy and routine labs/blood sampling
• Outcomes and concepts for follow-up
