We drive progress.
Our objective is to improve maternal and newborn health in each region of the world. We advocate for change and are not afraid to challenge the status quo with scientific evidence and lived experience. To see our vision become reality, we develop innovative and evidence-based concepts and work toward implementing them with the help of our community.
We empower our community.
Our community consists of (former) patients, families, healthcare professionals, medical staff, and scientists from different disciplines, fields, and countries. We provide them with the tools, knowledge, and support to conduct their work professionally, accompany them on their advocacy journey, and join forces to create a bigger impact. To ensure that these voices are heard, we participate in scientific and medical discourses with our own evidence-based contributions. We connect the people in our community to create synergies and facilitate conversations about how to improve maternal and newborn health in lasting ways.
We embrace openness.
The way in which we conduct our work and achieve our aims is guided by openness and transparency. We treat our community and each other with respect, are tolerant and inclusive, and create a welcoming culture that reaches beyond our network. This also means recognizing and valuing other ideas, views, approaches, and experiences. We are informed, eager to learn, and incorporate new knowledge into our ideas, concepts, and practices. Continually striving to improve, we regularly reflect on our vision, our work, and our conduct.
