Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV): A Risk for All Children Under Two

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common virus that can cause illnesses ranging from mild upper respiratory symptoms to severe lower respiratory tract infections. While most RSV infections lead to cold-like symptoms, the virus remains one of the leading causes of hospital admissions in infants and young children.

It is currently not possible to predict which infants will develop serious complications from RSV, making awareness and early intervention critical in pediatric care.
